LYDIA’S CLOSET THRIFT STORE

A Ministry of the First Baptist Church of Fresno

Our Thrift Store is open Saturdays from 8a – 1p (May-October) and 9a-1p (November – April) and is located on our church campus in Rm. 301 (Lansing Street side). We encourage you to stop by and shop and find some great deals. All proceeds benefit children’s and neighborhood ministries.

Donations of children’s items, small household items, and clothing are accepted. (Sorry we do not have space for large appliances or furniture donations.)

If you would like to volunteer in Lydia’s Closet and help sort through donations or help on sale days, please email info@fresnofirst.org or contact the church office, 559-227-8478 (BAP-TIST) and we will connect you with the Thrift Store manager.

RUTH’S PANTRY FOOD PANTRY

Our food pantry provides food to those in need who have been approved by LOVE, I.N.C. (Love In the Name of Christ). Click here to go to the website of ESA/LOVE Inc and find out more about this ministry and how they partner with churches to help those in need.

Shopping List for Ruth’s Pantry

On Sundays place food donations in the “Ruth’s Pantry shopping cart” – along the wall of Fellowship Hall. Weekdays bring to office. Cash donations are also appreciated.

Fills one bag (est. value $20)

• 1 can peanut nutter
• 1 box crackers
• 1 box cereal
• 2 cans vegetables
• 2 cans fruit
• 1 box jello
• Spaghetti sauce
• Pasta
• 1 can tuna or canned meat
• 1 box tuna helper
• Rice (in 1 lb. bag)
• Dry Beans (in 1 lb. bag)
• Powdered milk (in envelopes)
• Toilet Paper
