High School
If you are in High School and looking for a place to hear, learn, and grow in your personal relationship with Jesus Christ, Area 3:16 is the place for you. We are pursuing Jesus through fun events, student leadership training, Sunday evening High School group, camps & service opportunities. We are building a community that supports each other and discovers how amazing living life with Jesus Christ really is. John 10:9-10 says, “Yes, I (Jesus) am the gate. Those who come in through me will be saved. Wherever they go, they will find green pastures. The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give life in all its fullness.”
Sunday Nights (September – May)
Our Area 3:16 High School Ministry meets on Sundays from 6-8p in Fellowship Hall (at Fresno First Baptist). This is a time to hang out with friends while learning about Jesus Christ through activities and messages. Invite Friends! Youth Group Trip (HS & JH) is Saturday, July 6 from 11a-8p at Wild Water Adventure Park. Cost is $25.00 and includes admission, 2 meals, and beverages. Sign up & pay with Pastor Chris by June 2. Must sign-up in advance to get this rate. If not pre-registered you will have to pay the regular admission price at the gate + pay for your own meals/beverages while there.
Summer Camp at Sugar Pine Christian Camp
High School Summer Camp is August 4-9.
Cost: $300. includes camp registration fee & transportation. Make checks payable to FBC or click here to pay online through our website. Note “HS Camp” on the Other line.

High School Pismo Beach Trip
Saturday, September 7. Leave church at 8a, return at 9p. Cost: $10 for transportation. Bring money for food and activities while there and for fast food dinner on the way back (or pack a sack lunch &/or dinner).High School Staff

Student Leadership “The Core”
Student Leadership for High School and Middle School students is offered on Sunday mornings from 9-10a in Rm. 208. Students must complete a student leadership covenant form and submit it to Pastor Chris to apply for student leadership training.

Help Support our Youth Ministries
- Bring us aluminum cans, CRV plastic bottles, empty inkjet cartridges for recycling.
- Use SaveMart/Food Maxx S.H.A.R.E.S. card – request card from Mitzi in the church office. Just swipe it every time you shop at Save Mart or Food Maxx and we get money for our youth ministry. It’s that easy.
- Register with eScrip at www.escrip.com. Designate Fresno First Baptist Church – Group ID# 500004442. Vons and many other participating merchants will donate monthly to our youth ministry.
- Bring us music CD’s or movie DVD’s you do not want anymore. (Must be in original cases and have a barcode.)
