Seniors

The Senior Fellowship is designed to promote fun, adventure and friendship among 55-100 year olds that have an interest in the church and its activities. Because there are numerous Sunday school classes meeting throughout the campus for Bible study, this provides an opportunity for the older adult population to connect and socialize. Leaders David and Diane Mahan plan activities that take in the beautiful scenery of the San Joaquin Valley and celebrate the seasons. It is our goal to keep costs affordable, with each person covering their own costs.

Small Groups

We are a church OF Small Groups! The purpose of these groups are to faciliate Christ-centered friendships and spiritual growth for people seeking to know God more.  If you are interested in a small group, you may sign up on campus on Sunday mornings or email smallgroups@fresnofirst.org.

Sunday Morning Classes

We offer several different classes on Sunday mornings at 9:00am.  These groups are small to mid-sized and vary in their focus and content.  Please contact the church office for more information, email Pastor Jim Kennon or you can visit the Welcome Center on campus on Sunday mornings and we will direct you to a class that works well for you. Current adult Sunday Morning Classes are offered in Room 302 (led by John Alves), Room 304 (led by Janice Park), & Room 306 (led by Steve Toews). Visit each class and choose the one that is right for you.

Elevate Class options are also offered on Sundays from 9a-10:15a and 10:45a-12p. These 8-week class options vary and are designed to help you grow spiritually and personally. Check out our ELEVATE class options

Mid-Week Bible Studies & Groups

We have additional specialty groups that meet regularly and welcome new guests weekly. You are welcome to drop in at the times and places stated below, or you may contact the office for more information.

GEMs (God’s Exceptional Moms) – Wednesday Nights from 6:30-8:30p in room 306. Contact Christine Wren @ 269-5197. This group is for young and/or unwed moms.

Women’s Bible Study – Wednesday Nights from 7-8:30p in the Parlor Led by Pastor Terrie.

Men’s Bible Study – Wednesday Nights from 7-8:30p in Room 304 Led by Les Johnson. 

Bible Study – Thursday mornings from 9:30-11a in Room 310 Led by Linda Alstrom (Off in the Summer)
