When are your service times?

Our current service time is Sundays at 10:15a for our worship celebration. It is a “come as you are”, casual atmosphere with contemporary style music. We have discipleship classes for all ages at 9:00a on Sunday mornings. Nursery and a full children’s program for all ages is provided from 9:00a – 11:30a. Jr. High and High School students meet together at 9:00a and participate in worship at 10:15a.  We also meet throughout the week for Small Groups, Youth ministries, Children’s Ministry activities, Bible studies, and other ministries.

What can I expect as a new visitor?

We have greeters at the front door who greet everyone, not just visitors. You will notice that this church is made up of people of every age group and walk of life. It is a reflection of our diverse city and world. You’ll get a hello at the door, and an invitation to receive a “Gift Bag” especially for our new guests. Sundays include classes for all ages at 9:00a and worship at 10:15a.  You will be warmly received but not singled out in an uncomfortable way. Every Sunday there is an informal meet and greet with a member of the  Pastoral Staff for newcomers.

What does Fresno First have for each member of my family?

Fresno First offers worship, grow, and service opportunities for all ages. Adult classes meet on Sundays; Bible studies during the week at various times. Small Groups involve adults of all ages meeting in small groups for discipleship and fellowship. How do I join Fresno First?

Fresno First offers a membership class called the Worship Connection that any interested person may attend.  We offer this class on a monthly basis and baptism on a regular basis  They are both required for membership.  Please call the church office, check in the “connections” section of this website, or at the information counter at church for dates and times.

What about financial giving?

At Fresno First we believe and teach the Biblical principle of the tithe, or ten percent, with regard to our financial giving to God’s work. We also encourage generosity in support of mission and special projects, needs, and opportunities whether local or around the world. Giving is possible through online giving, automatic withdrawal, mail service, or in person as part of our regular worship gatherings.

How do I get involved?

“Serve” is one of core value/expectations. We believe there is a place for everyone to get involved and make a difference in keeping with one’s spiritual gifts, areas of passion, and personal interest and style.
