e-Missions Update: Meghan In Mexico

Hello!

I hope you all are enjoying a time of celebration and thanksgiving. I write this short note just to let you
all know, as friends, family and supporters, just how much I do appreciate you.

As Thanksgiving is a traditional Canadian/US holiday, I did not really expect to celebrate it here in
Mexico. However, as some of the staff have celebrated it in the past, we decided to go ahead and plan something. Nikki's dad who's here visiting prepared a delicious "traditional" Thanksgiving dinner - turkey, mashed potatoes, corn, bread - yummy stuff!

It was also a time where we invited friends and family to join together with us to give thanks, and it was special because most hadn't ever celebrated this holiday before.

All in all, when the time came to share around the table, I just had to give so much thanks for - a big
part of my thankfulness is for each and every one of you. I cannot express how much it means to know that, ev en though they be 3,000 miles or more away, I have a family that loves and supports me endlessly. Included in that is my church family - those who I know are upholding me in prayer, many in daily prayer; those who, even though we may see one another for 1 hour once a year, I know that I am on their minds the rest of the year, and I can count on them; and I know that when we are together, the connection and friendship remains. I appreciate this beyond words, and it truly
does strengthen and uplift me.

If I haven't expressed it in all that I've now written: "THANK YOU." Thank God for you!
May you be walking in the way of the Lord each day.

All my love,

Meghan
