If our greatest need had been information, God would have sent us an educator; If our greatest need had been technology, God would have sent us a scientist; If our greatest need had been money, God would have sent us an economist; If our greatest need had been pleasure, God would have sent us an entertainer; But our greatest need was forgiveness, so God sent us a Savior. If you didn’t get a chance to make it to Saint’s Rest I am glad to report to you that it was a wonderful service. It was well attended by all the churches involved, our choir was fantastic and Willie’s sermon was one of the best I have heard him preach - and I have heard some doozies from him.
I got a chance to talk to Floyd and Bev Willis this past week and am so glad to be able to tell you that they are both doing much better.
I also talked to Peggy Molander on Sonday and she told me that the tumor that Bobby Mo’ had was operated on up in San Francisco. It was not malignant and was successfully removed. Songs of gratitude filled us, God of Wonders.

Yah Ozi, God our Strength,
At this time of year we pause in astonishment to think that You, LORD of all creation, the great I AM, Sovereign God, would chose to be born as a helpless baby into the very world You created with Your spoken word. You looked and acted like every other baby to the world but You were so much more. You are Jesus - Light of the World, Hope of humanity, Peace that passes all understanding. You are everything that is good and perfect. Shine through the darkness of the world.
We thank You, Father, for the great news on Bobby Mo’ and on Floyd and Bev Willis. Continue to heal and strengthen them. We thank You that Ivy has found a job, we ask that You help her shine with Your glory on that job.
Yahweh Ropheha, LORD Who Heals, we lift our beloved friends, Pastor Dale Bethell, Eileen, Roberta, Nathaniel, Herbert, Jim, Sharleen and Cori and ask that You be with them and comfort them as they deal with their health issues. Please, LORD God, continue to be with those who are on our prayer chain.
We thank You for the safe return of Jonathan and ask that You continue to be with our country, our leaders and all the men and women who serve us in the military.
Teacher and Guide, we ask that You fill the lives of our pastors. We pray for Pastor Bryan Hitch, Holy Spirit, and ask that You continue to fill his heart and soul with Your music. We thank You for his talents that he brings to serve You. Bless all of our leaders with joy and our ministries with growth.
Savior, we ask Your continued blessings on Your missionaries who serve Your purpose around the earth.
We have great joy at this time of the year when we celebrate Your birth when You came as a servant. In just a few months we will remember Your death as the sacrifice for our sins, and then - with even greater joy - we will celebrate Your resurrection when You defeated death and the grave. But our greatest joy is yet to come. That will come on the day when we see You returning to the earth as King of kings and LORD of lords, when you come to rule the earth. You will bring us goodness and light. How we long for that day.
