e-Bible Reading Plan

We had some GREAT reading this week! Romans is some of Paul’s best writings - well - actually - Paul was just the transcriber - so I guess that it is some of Jesus’ best writing - I’m not going to go any further with this! But although it was all great - my heart still lives in Matthew - my imagination just loves to go into high gear as I read Jesus’s words and imagine the faces in the crowds around Him. In Matthew 23 - can’t you just see the sour-lemon faces of the Pharisees when Jesus told them the truth that they refused to see about themselves? And then in Matthew 25 when Messiah tells parables about His return - can’t you just see the disciples trying to figure out what it all means? What do you suppose Judas’ face looked like when - in Matthew 26 - Jesus said “Yes, it is you” (who will betray Him) And we know what Jesus’ face looked like - pain from knowing that Judas would betray Him - but overpowering the pain will be Jesus’ love and compassion
He looks at us like that - with overpowering love. Love that filled a manger and love that filled a cross. Thank You, Jesus..
