Happy Thanksgiving from NIgeria!
I wanted to send you all an email "thank you" as we are remembering friends and family who maybe far away but feel very close to my heart.
Thank you all for your continued prayers, support, and encouragement.
It may be hard to believe, but I actually miss the cold, foggy Fresno Thanksgivings! It is very warm and dry here.
We will be having a somewhat traditional dinner tonight - turkey I cooked at Mercy's house, 2 chickens we roasted at my house, sweet potatoes & green beans we cooked at Lisa's house, fresh dinner rolls from Afri-One (internet cafe/bakery), and french apple pies I made early this morning. Cranberries of any kind were no where to be found, no canned pumpkin, and some very strange looking, very expensive pumpkin like things that we decided to pass on. Maybe a little different, but plenty to be thankful for. There will be about 15 Nigerian friends gathering at our place to eat with us and thank the Lord together for all of His blessings in our lives. And I do feel abundantly blessed today!
Looking forward to seeing many of you around the Christmas holidays!
God's blessings be with you!
Biana
