Dear friends
Just a quick one to let you know that even though we had a coup here in
Thailand last night - everything is "fine" - I have spoken with other
missionaries in Thailand today and everyone is safe and well.
A coup in Thailand is usually not as big a deal as it would be in a lot of
countries and things passed hands very quickly and somewhat
painlessly. The new leaders say they will reform the constitution in the
next 2 weeks, probably appoint a caretaker prime minster and have elections
next year. Which would be similar to the coup in Feb 1991.
We would ask that you pray for Thailand, not just for political and
economic stability but for a movement of the Holy Spirit among Thai people.
