Melekh, King,
You are sovereign King over all of creation and over all of eternity. You speak with the voice of thunder and all of creation leaps to do Your biddings. Your voice shakes the foundations of the earth. At Your voice the mountains tremble in the joy of hearing You. When You speak with the sound of thunder help us to hear You. When You whisper in a small still voice, help us to hear You, and we will tremble with the joy of hearing You speak. We need to hear Your voice above all others. Hear our plea, LORD God, and speak to us.
Father, we lift up Yolanda and her sister as they face these medical challenges. Place you hand of healing on both of them and comfort their spirits. We pray for Chuck as he continues to recover from surgery. LORD God, this staph infection that plagues Dennis is a long term problem. We call upon Your power LORD, and ask that You destroy this infection. We pray for a healing for Michael both a spiritual healing from his depression, and a physical healing of his heart. We continue to lift up John’s brother, Bill, and ask that You continue to heal him. Calm his spirit as he waits for this surgery.
Spirit of Life, we pray for the Awana and Care Fresno ministries as they kick-off this week. Bring children in abundance to both of the ministries – and bring the leaders an volunteers to handle the increase. We pray for the children that come to these programs, that You will open their eyes, open their ears, and open their hearts to see Your glory. We thank You for the Celebrate Recovery ministry and for the extraordinary servants that You have placed to lead it.
We pray for the Nigeria mission trip and for the Spoonfest fundraiser. We thank You for the opportunity to come together as the Body of Christ for a fun time of fellowship that also supports carrying Your message around the world.
Theotes, Triune God, we were created in Your image. Like You, we are three parts that make one whole. You are Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We are soul, body and spirit. We rejoice to know that You are eternal and You have created us to share eternity with You.
We continue to lift up the names of those who are on our prayer chain and ask that Your mercy and grace be poured out on them.
We ask that You bless in abundance the pastors of our churches. We pray for our leadership and ministries. Provide the people and the resources that will help us to reach out to the world in Your name. Give us opportunities to share Your name with those around us. Protect Your missionaries who serve You so faithfully around the world. Grant them peace of mind.
We pray for those who serve our country in the military, LORD of All, and ask that You protect them. Guide the leadership of our country. We pray for our congresspersons, that they will be guided by Your voice and not by the voice of the deepest pocket.
You are all that we need. The rest of all this, the world and what it strives for, will pass away – but You will still remain. And we will be with You. Your promise that You will never leave us or forsake us is what we hold onto.
