e-Bible Reading Plan
Dont you just love the poetry of Isaiah? Some of my favorite this week was Isaiah 32: 1-5 it made me think of the thousand year reign of Christ when fools and scoundrels will no longer respected when it is good to be of noble character. I liked Isaiah 33:1 as well it read like a promise to satan. Chapter 34 sounds like Armageddon. The prophecy mixed with poetry makes Isaiah so unique!
James starts out with a difficult verse that we are to consider it joy when we face trials because they help us grow. I know that that is true it has been born out many times in my life but to actually feel joy about going through the trials thats a tough one! James 3:10 is a verse that I need to read often to help me tame the waywardness of my tongue. Anybody else feel that way?
I absolutely love how the Message translates 1 Peter 1:1 my favorite part is ...writing to the exiles scattered to the four winds - not one is missing, not one forgotten. God the Father has his eye on each of you. I love to read of how I am never outside of Gods view and protection! In this crazy world that it a good thing!
