e-Praise & Prayers - April 13, 2006

Our labor here is brief, but our reward is eternal. Be not troubled by the noise of the world that passes like shadow. -St. Clare of Assisi

Please pray for Chris, the nephew of Faye, a baker at Von’s bakery, that he can be released from the demon possession of drugs.

Jehovah Sabaoth, Our LORD of Powers,

We thank You and praise You for this week - a Holy week - when we can stop and remember that this was the week in which the world was forever changed. When mercy replaced justice, when the barrier between God and man was ripped from top to bottom, when our relationship with you was healed.

Jehovah-Rapha, LORD Who Heals, we lift up those who are facing health challenges from illnesses, broken bones and addictions. We pray for Jim Purgason, Michael Farris, and Char’s father, that You touch them and heal their bodies. We pray for Dorothy and Kay as their bones heal from their falls. We pray for Chris, that You will release him from his addictions.

We pray, El Shaddai, that You place Ivy & David Huff into jobs where their witness for You will shine brightly to their co-workers.

As our young people who are serving You in Mexico prepare to come home, we thank You, Gentle Spirit, for Your watchful eye over them. Continue to guard them as they travel home.

LORD Jesus, we pray for those who continue to be on our prayer list and thank You for the privilege of lifting them before You.

With our hearts overflowing with love, we lift up our pastors to You, Abba, and we ask that on this very busy week, that You bind that troublemaker, satan, away from the. We pray for our leaders and ministries - that they will continue to serve You to the best of our abilities. Father, every ministry in the Church needs more people to serve in them. Speak to the hearts of Your people and urge them to find the great joy that is found in turning our hearts in service to You.

Be with Your missionaries around the world, Holy Spirit. Move upon their lives with gentleness and peace. Let them see the fruits of their labors for You.

We pray, LORD God of the Angel Armies, that You bless our country. Bring her back to her knees before You. Guide our leaders in the decisions they make. Protect those who serve You and our country in the military.

As we watch the season change around us, Father, and we watch the world cloth herself in the brilliant colors and new life of Spring, we are reminded of the new life that You have birthed within our souls. Thank You for our salvation that comes only through You and Your mercy. Thank You for the life we life on this earth that is not our home, and for our eternal life that we will live within Your presence. You are our home. We Love You, LORD.
