Bible Reading Plan - March 12- 18
We had some really interesting reading this week. Numbers chapter 21 started out with the story of the bronze snake - keep that snake in your memory because it will become important again during the Kings of Israel. And one of my favorite stories Balaam & his donkey. It is funny to me that Balaam was so angry at his donkey that he gets into an argument with her. She is talking to him - and all he can focus on is thelling the donkey - “If I had a sword in my hand - you would be dead!” And Mark - as are all of the Gospels - is just some of my favorite reading - I always seem to find something new. I found something I never really noticed before - I am planning to ask our professional Christian about it just as soon as I am done with my own research into it (which means that I am going to run a word search on the four gospels) Mark 7:34 tells the story of Jesus healing a deaf man with a speech impediment. It says “Looking up to heaven, He (Jesus) sighed.....” Why did Jesus sigh - and do the gospels record Him sighing any place else? If you have any thoughts about this - send them off to me!
Here is this weeks reading - we are out of numbers and into Deuteronomy. We leave Mark & go into Galatians.
