e-Bible Reading

What an exciting week of reading we have had! I hope that you were able to go to the web site that was sent to you and explore the Wilderness Tabernacle. Isn’t it just amazing how everything pointed to Christ? And did you notice that if you drew a line through the ark, the table of incense and down though the outside altar, and then drew a line between the candlestick and the alter of shewbread - that it made a cross?

and reading about the early history of the Church was great - so much to think about. But here is what struck me. The Apostles are drug in front of the Sanhedrin and their answers so angered the Sanhedrin that they were about to be put to death. Then Gamaliel talks some sense into them and they so the flog the Apostles and let them go. And then in verse 44 it says it says that the Apostles were rejoicing because they had been counted worthy to suffer disgrace for the Name. I wonder how many of us would consider a flogging to be something to rejoice over?
