Reading the Bible together is a great adventure! I read the most amazing verse this past week. It is Exodus 12:40 and it says, “The people of Israel had lived in Egypt for four hundred and thirty years; an on the very day that the four hundred and thirty years ended, the LORD’s division f people left Egypt.” What an interesting thing - that they left Egypt 430 years after arriving - to the very day. What do you think the significance of that was?
We have gotten into the book of Acts - one of my favorite books of the Bible. I love Acts 1:6 - 11. The apostles - even after all that has happened - is still waiting for Jesus to establish His earthly kingdom. Instead Jesus gives them the Great Commission - then goes floating up into heaven. Don’t you wish that you could have seen their faces! I bet our faces would have looked the same.
