Before we go to God in prayer, I want you to close your eyes and see the throne room with me. See all the flashes of lightning and colors. Feel the rumblings of thunder shake you. Be in wonder at the emerald rainbow that encircles the throne and the crystal sea before it. Over there see the 24 elders dressed in white and above the throne see the seraphs flying as they cry out, “Holy, Holy, Holy, LORD God Almighty” Feel the joy of being part of the multitude of every tribe, tongue and nation that enthrones Him on our praise. Lift your hands towards Him and see Him in all of His glory. This is not the baby in the manger, this is not Jesus, meek and mild, this is not the sacrifice. This is God, Who was and is and is to come. This is God, powerful and triumphant over all of eternity. This is God Whose glory is so bright we almost cannot look at Him. We are in His presence, humbled to be here, awed to be here, exhilarated to be with Him.
