Hey Flipside Family! I love you all! What a great celebration we had yesterday at our “birth day”!
I just want to say “thank you” to you all. Your faithfulness, sacrifice, and support mean so much. So many people are hearing about Jesus and learning more about Him and His desire because of you!
I want to give you the “update” on yesterday. Without counting people twice (all the workers who stayed for both services) we had 416 people. If we were to count everyone in both services we would be at the 500 mark (but I don’t want to “double count” people J). My “coach” who gives me guidance in the plant process says to think in terms of a “Launch Window” and count those people who were at our last preview service but who couldn’t come to the Kick Off and those who come next Sunday who weren’t at the Kick Off. Suffice it to say, we were blessed no matter what the “count” was! I am so proud of all of you. I have been moved to tears out of gratitude to God numerous times yesterday and today. This is a very humbling process. Thank you for letting God use you in it with me.
You all have been so generous. The offering, which I made the decision all goes to Katrina relief, was over $4,600.00! Wow! Thank you. Again, I am so proud of you. What other church gives away their entire offering?! What a difference you are making in lives all the way across the country! The Flipside family is changing lives!
Guess what? Sunday comes again in 6 more days! That means we have the opportunity to gather together as a community again and be encouraged and strengthened. Continue to invite your friends and neighbors. We are always in the growth process as there are thousands of people who need to be in church with God and with us.
