Hey Flipside Family,
I want to bring you all up to speed on a few things coming up that you may want to put on your calendar.
First, Tuesday night (tomorrow) we have an opportunity to visit an apartment ministry very similar to the one I spoke about at our last preview service. This is where we will be given an apartment in a complex and can run Bible studies, kids ministry, education classes on how to read and write, hold free medical clinics, etc all with the blessing of the police department and apartment owners! We will meet at Whispering Woods Apt, 5231 N. Fresno St at 6:45pm. I sure hope you can be there. It will give us a great model of what we can do.
Second, I am offering an open invitation to all men Wednesday evening at 6:30pm. Meet me at the Starbucks in Riverpark (next to Kinkos) and we’ll begin a discipleship group. Bring your Bible and a pen. I look forward to seeing you there.
Third, remember VBS is coming up very soon. July 18-22nd at Cobb Ranch! It will run from 6:00-8:30pm and is open for all kids 2yrs old through 6th grade. Contact Amy at amy@acts176.com or call her at 681-5660 to get your child signed up. Invite your kids friends too.
I am excited about what God is doing with and through us as we “ramp up” for our launch on September 11th! I am so grateful to Him, and to you for being a part of it! I love you all. Blessings, Karl
