e-Praise & Prayers

God is a rich and bountiful Father, and He does not forget His children,
nor withhold from them anything which it would be to their advantage to have.
J.K. Maclean

This Sonday - April 10th - Care Fresno Kids Klub is having a bake sale to raise funds for our trip to Marine World in June. Donations to the bake sale can be delivered to the office on Friday - or brought to church on Sonday. The bake sale will be held in the quad after both services. Be sure to stop by and be tempted by all the goodies. (This time - it is okay to give into temptation!)

Ramona McDonald is offering praises because her anemia tests are now normal. Yippee!

Connie, who was suffering from pneumonia & valley fever, has been cleared to return to work.

Paula is doing better after receiving two blood transfusions. She has finally gotten her driver’s licence renewed and feels “free at last!”

Laura has been able to go home after her bone marrow transplant.

Dennis Hunt told me that his father, Kirt, is doing great. His blood sugars are under control and he has lost some weight.

Samee Myers underwent knee replacement surgery last week. I talked to her yesterday and she is doing well - although she admitted that the first couple of days were really bad .

Lorraine Esparza’s brother passed away this past weekend. Please keep Lorraine, George and the family in your prayers.

Aaron Weins, the newborn we were praying for, was taken off of life support and has gone into his Father’s eternal arms. Please pray for his parents, Krista & Aaron, and the family.

Shirley Carpenter has been diagnosed with cancer and is requesting prayer.

Jess Castanon, Jennie Coronado’s brother, is having surgery on April 5th for stomach problems.

Howard Eicher, Edie Gates’ father, continues to have problems after an urinary tract surgery and may face additional surgery.

Margaret Towes, a member of FFBC since 1982, passed away on March 28th in Clearbrook, British Columbia after a stroke. Please pray for comfort for the family that remains.

Please pray for Ted Gomez, Carol Robertshaw’s future son-in-law. He is suffering from lung problems and has an appointment with a specialist.

Donna Hemphill is suffering from shingles. Not only is she miserable from that - but it is aggravating her migraines. Not a pleasant double-whammy.

Yolanda is having surgery on her back tomorrow. It is hoped that this surgery will keep her from having major surgery on her back later on.

Cora Estes is requesting prayer for her husband Ace who is also suffering from shingles.

Sharleen Ferree had surgery on April 1st to remove kidney stones.

We continue to pray for the following: Ruth Howell’s recovery, Lorraine & George Esparza’s daughter & son-in-law, Tim & Lorna’s adoption of Drew, Bobbie Ronsley & lupus, Dennis Galloway, Larry Mead, Brent Clapp, Charles & Chantel in Paris, Brandon & leukemia, Stan Reed & cancer, Lillian Seward with shingles, Kassel Coon serving in Afghanistan, Ray Rahn & his wife, Brigg Noyes, Rick Owens & the reoccurrence of his cancer, Judi Wright & her mom-Nola, George & Margie Martin, 2 year old Patrick & the brain tumor, Dan Hansen & his future job, John Rogers and cancer. Please send me any updates you might have on these situations.

Pray for our missionaries - The Reaching Hand Society in India, Dr. George Pe Myat & the hospital in the Congo, Bounkham & Khamla’s mission to Laos, Laurie Bethall in Prague, Judy, Faye & Miisaw as they work at the New Life Center in Thailand, Jan & Larry Martin in Thailand, and all the missionaries worldwide.

Please keep our two church plants in prayer. Please pray for Karl & Shellie Roth with Flipside. Please pray for Horacio & Cheryl Aleman at the LIFEhouse in Reedley. April 10th is the next preview service for Flipside. It will be held at Valley Oak Elementary at 10:00

Pray for our pastors, our leadership, our ministries, and Father’s provision for His Church. Pray for opportunities to share our faith with others.

Pray for our country, her leadership and our military.

Alpha and Omega,

When time first began You were already reigning in eternity. When time is no more - You will still reign. In a world that changes moment by moment we rejoice in Your steadfastness.

Father of Lights we praise You for the great news on Ramona, Connie, Paula, Laura and Kirt. We thank You for Your hand of mercy in each of these situations.

We pray, Holy Spirit, for the friends and families of those who have passed into eternity - Lorraine’s brother, Aaron Weins and Margaret Towes. Fill them with Your peace - comfort them as they grieve.

LORD Jesus, we lift up all of those who have been through surgery or are about to undergo surgery - Samee Myers, Jess Castanon, Howard Eicher, Yolanda and Sharleen Ferree. We ask that Your healing hand be on them as they undergo and recover from their surgeries. Restore them completely to good health.

LORD God, we pray for Shirley as she deals with this diagnosis of cancer and ask that You guide her doctors and guide her as she makes decisions.

Father, we lift up Ted Gomez and ask that You grant Your wisdom to his doctors so that they can correct this problem in his lungs.

We pray for Donna, Ace, Lillian, Nola, and others in our family who are suffering from shingles. Father, grant them peace from the pain of them. Take this problem away from them.

Holy One, we lift up all those who continue to be in our hearts and prayers and ask that You continue to move and restore in each of these situations.

Our missionaries are so precious to us, LORD, as we know that they are to You. We ask a special blessing on them as they serve You in places far away from us.

LORD God, we lift up the two new churches, Flipside and LIFEHouse, and ask that You bless them with growth and bless all those who serve in them.

Heavenly Father, we lift up with great love, the pastors of our churches and ask that You protect them and help them to find rest for their spirits and their bodies. We pray for the leadership of our churches, that You guide them and bless them with Your wisdom. We pray for the provision of our various ministries and ask that we be blessed with new, creative ways to reach those around us. Father, enlarge our territories.

Give us eyes to see and ears to hear those around us - give us opportunities to build relationships with others that will build into relationships with You.

Abba, we pray for the men and women in our military who protect our freedoms at all costs. Comfort them wherever they are in this world. Let them feel our love and respect for them. Father, we pray for our country and her leadership. We call out for our President and ask that You show him the direction You would have this country to go in. We pray for all those who serve our nation in governmental positions - national, state and local. Grant them wisdom as they serve.

Holy are You, LORD God Almighty. We sing of Your glory, Your power, and Your love. We sing here on earth and we will continue to sing around Your throne.
