We took the Care Fresno kids up to the snow above Shaver Lake on this past Saturday. I praise Father for our day because we had a wonderful time - we took 31 up the mountain - we brought 31 back - all in one piece. We did have some hair-raising moments - like when two of our boys launched their toboggan off the side of a 6 ft snow cliff, sailed through the air and landed on the asphalt parking lot. I ran to them expecting broken bones, crushed skulls, blood gushing everywhere - and praise Father - ‘cause He must of caught them and put them on the asphalt. They were just fine. If you see Norm Baird - ask him about his trip down the snow run!
Bryan and Terri Hitch along with Matt and Lisa Watson took off last Sonday for Nigeria. Please pray for traveling mercies, safety, and a good time for them. As of last night, nobody had heard from them - so I guess that all is going well.
Vanessa Garcia, the yong woman who was hit by a car, was able to go to the snow with us and had a good - if quiet - time with us. She is doing well and recovering from the accident.
Briggs Noyes went in for a check-up on his heart yesterday. His father, Karl, told me that Briggs is doing so well that they are going to be able to go from a monthly check-up to a every two months check-up.
Ruth Howell was supposed to go home on February 24th - I haven’t heard differently so I am guessing that she did. Please pray for her continued recovery.
Please pray for one of my Care Fresno kids, Sarah. She is doing through a difficult time in her family.
As of last Wednesday (at Choir practice) we were told that Chuck Johnson, Kelli Hasting’s father, was doing very poorly. Please continue to pray for Kelli and the family
We continue to pray for the following: Rick Owens & the reoccurrence of his cancer, Laura and her bone marrow transplant, Lorraine Esparza’s daughter & son-in-law, Kirt Hunt & continued recovery, Paula and her recovery from surgery & cancer, Connie & her double pneumonia and Valley fever, Stan Reed & continued recovery from bladder cancer, Judi Wright & her mom, Bobbie Ronsley & lupus, George & Margie Martin, 2 year old Patrick & the brain tumor, Yolanda & her back problems, 2 year old Brandon & his leukemia, Dan Hansen & his future job, John Rogers and cancer, Gabriel, Ruth Delgado’s nephew, recovering from wounds received in Iraq, Carola Poythress’s recovery from a stroke, Ray Rahn & kidney dialysis, Johnnie Sowell & her chemo. Please send me any updates you might have on these situations.

Righteous & Holy God,
We lift our hands, our hearts, and our spirits to you in adoration. You are our God and we are Your children. We live within the light of Your love for us.
We ask that You protect Bryan, Terri, Matthew and Lisa as they do Your work during their time in Nigeria. Grant them a wonderful time while they are away from us and bring them home to us safely.
LORD of All, we thank You and praise You for the great news on Vanessa, Briggs and Ruth. Continue to pour Your abundance on them and continue to restore them to health, Father God.
LORD Jesus, how You loved the children when You walked among Your creation, and how they loved You. We call out, LORD, on behalf of Sarah. You know the situation that she is in and it is not good. Surround her with Your love, bring peace to her, and protect her from harm.
Holy Spirit, We pray that You comfort Kelli and her family as Chuck completes this final part of his earthly life’s journey. Gently bring him home to You.
Father God, we continue to lift up all the people and situations that are on our list and we thank You for how You are working in each of these lives.
Abba, we are so grateful for Your daily presence in our lives. Even if the rest of the world turns their backs on us - You never will. You are our Protector and Defender. With You for us - who can be against us?
We pray for Dr. George and the hospital in the Congo and ask that as the bodies of the people are healed, that their souls will be healed as well. We thank You for our Laurie and pray Father that You will bless her and keep her. We pray for Judy, Faye and Miisaw as they continue the work that Laurie began at the New Life Center in Thailand. We lift up Larry and Jan Martin and ask that You bless their work in Thailand and that Gold will read the Bible that they gave him while Jan and Larry are visiting her parents. Jesu Mapru, we lift up The Reaching Hand Society and ask that You bless all the work that they do in Your name. Bless all the missionaries who have dedicated their lives to fulfilling the Great Commission.
LORD God, we lift up Karl & Shellie Roth at the Flipside Church. We thank You for the exiting growth already experienced by this new church and ask that You continue to bless them. We call out for Horacio and Cheryl Aleman and the LIFEhouse Church in Reedley. Father, remove any obstacles that are in their path.
Father, with great joy we sing our pastors names before You, Willie, Terrie, Bryan, Chris, Dan, Dale and Gene. We thank You for them and for the many ways that they serve our congregation. Holy One, We ask that You bring them the same joy that they bring us. We pray for our leadership in our churches that You guide them and lead them on the path that You would have us take. Bless the ministries of our church and keep them focused on engaging out world in Your name. Provide for the needs of our churches, LORD of all Creation. Father, open our eyes to the many opportunities You provide for us to share our faith. Help us to live lives dedicated to You so that all can see You through us.
Father, we pray for our Supreme Court as they decide the issue of the display of the Ten Commandments. Father, grant them Your wisdom. We pray for our country - that she will come back to You. We pray for the leadership of our country and the federal, state and local level. We ask that Your guidance be felt as they make the decisions that affect our lives. We pray for the safety of our military as they serve our country. Grant them comfort, Holy Spirit.
LORD Jesus, thank You for this life that You have given us for. Everything that we once held dear, that is revered by the world, that we used to build our lives upon have faded away to just shadows - and only You remain. Knowing You by far surpasses any trinket that this world holds to be important. Our hearts desire is to know You more, and to rejoice in the promise of an eternity in Your presence.
