Every time that I think that God has blessed the Care Fresno Kids Klub with His loving-kindness and abundance, He says, “Wait, there is even more.” I praise Father for the generosity of His people! At this time last week we had 1 ½ children funded for the trip to Marine World - right now we have 9 3/4 funded. Incredible generosity was shown towards Care Fresno by Carol, John and Nancy Eland who donated the proceeds of their table at the Christmas Boutique to us. Father God, I am humbled by You and Your love for us. Your glory is truly revealed through Your children!
Biana Grogg is a grandma! Sophia Monet Hallengrogg was born Nov. 13th, 8 lbs 4 ounces, & 20" long. Please pray for Sophia and her parents Josh & Nicki.
Here is an update on Bev Willis’ neighbor, Rick, who has cancer. As you may recall, Rick came into a personal relationship with Jesus during the time we have been praying for him. The update is from Rick’s wife Leslie. “I have great news, Rick got a new CAT scan last week and the preliminary report shows that some of the melanoma lesions are shrinking! This means that his immune system is fighting the Melanoma (which is the only thing that can kill the cancer when Melanoma has metastasized). If it continues his body could put it in remissions this is very remote and there isn’t anyway of knowing if it can be done (until it is done) but God can do all things. It’s already a miracle that Rick is still alive and feeling relatively well.”
Great praise on Danette’s Grandma Ailien - she was released from the hospital last week! She is doing well, except that she can’t walk. Danette says that Grandma Ailien is doing better than they expected.
Please pray for Danette’s parents, Dan & Sandy Austin who are struggling with financial problesm due to her fathers job injury about 18 months ago.
I have a young friend, Katie, who is living with some tremendous medical challenges. Right now her biggest challenge is a problem with her swallowing. Because she doesn’t have a cough refles, sometimes when she swallows liquid it goes down her windpipe and into her lungs. This increases the chances of infection in her already weak system. Please pray that Father will bring healing and strength to Katie.
Joy Nolte as sent us a prayer request for the sister of a friend of hers. Lisa, the sister, has a substance abuse problem that she needs to find relief from. The best relief is - without a doubt - Jesus. Please pray that Lisa will come into relationship with Jesus and that she will allow Him to free her from these chains.
Patty Tapney’s nephew's wife was diagnosed with a childhood form of leukemia, she is young (late 20's) with a 4 month old child. Laura and Brian and Emma live in Akron, Ohio. Laura is doing well with the treatments and will be able to do them through outpatient services. Please pray for Laura and her family.
We have two prayer requests from the Reaching Hand Society. The first is a joyous request for prayer for Daniel Takiri who was added to the RHS family on 4th Oct 2004. Prakash and Rukmoni Takiri adopted him from a Koya tribal village. He lost his mother in childbirth and his father was not willing to take care of him. Praise God for the generous hearts of Prakash & Rukmoni who have given this child the opportunity to grow up in a Christ centered family! The second request is sad as well as a celebration. The aunt of Mr. D. V. Sunder Singh went home to be with her LORD on 13th Nov 2004. (Mr. Singh serves as the Treasurer of RHS). Although we celebrate the life and service to God by this Christian woman, we sorrow with the family as they grieve this temporary parting from their loved one.
Another touch of sadness as well as celebration is that Evelyn Hayherst also went home to be with her LORD about 2 weeks ago.
Maxine is requesting prayer for her 11-year-old granddaughter, Madison. Madison was thrown from her horse last Thursday and is ICU at Children’s Hospital with a badly lacerated liver. Please pray for a complete recovery for Madison, and for her parents and younger sister, Allison
I spoke this past weekend to Ruth Delgado and her nephew, Gabriel, is now recovering at Walter Reed hospital. Gabriel, while stationed in Iraq, and the others with him had stopped their humvee and gotten out to pass out candy to some children. While they were with the children, insurgents hid a bomb in the humvee that exploded when they got back in it. Gabriel has severe burns on his face, chest and arms as well as shrapnel in his back and the back of his skull. Please pray for Gabriel’s complete recovery.
Dan Hansen is considering a career in respiratory therapy once his job at Vendo closes. Please continue to pray that Father will open doors for Dan in this new career.
We continue to pray for the following: the twin preemie babies - Brandon & Dakota, Carola Poythress’s recovery from her stroke, George Martin with cancer in his bones, John Rogers & his cancer, Jim Hildman with the staph infection & cancer, Christine Rollins with a kidney stone, Rich and his family as they grieve the passing of his step-brother, Mike, and Kris Biaz as she recovers from surgery, Marisela & her family, Patrick & his family, Ray Rahn & his kidney dialysis, my friend who is drifting away from Father, Johnnie Sowell & her chemo, Cheryl Balestra & her chemo, Delaine Zody & the problems over at Fresno High, Billie Cagle & her recovery from a recent illness & surgery, Chuck Johnson & his health problems, Julie & her mom with their broken bones; 2 yr old Brandon & his leukemia, Lois Winters & her cancer, Peggy Molander & her physical therapy and Robert Kammer & sleep apnea.
Please continue to pray for our missionaries - Dr. George Pe Myat & the hospital in the Congo, Bounkham & Khamla’s mission to Laos, Jan & Larry Martin in Thailand, Laurie Bethall in Prague, Judy, Faye & Miisaw as they work at the New Life Center in Thailand, The Reaching Hand Society in India, and all the missionaries worldwide.

Your love for us is so amazing - it is beyond what our hearts can truly know. We love You so much and we praise You for Your tender and continuous care for us.
LORD God, we thank You for the new additions to our families, Sophia and Daniel. We ask that You bless both of these families and that they prosper in You.
We praise You that Ailien has come home from the hospital and ask that You strengthen her. We lift up Danette’s parents, Dan and Sandy, and ask that You guide them out of their financial difficulties.
We fall to our knees in awe of You, God, with how You have touched Rick & Leslie’s lives. Continue to heal Rick, LORD.
Great Healer, we lift up Katie before You and place her in Your hands. You know the multitude of challenges Your child faces even better than her doctors do. We ask that You heal Katie.
Changer of Lives, Lisa needs to know You and she needs for You to change her life and break her free of her addiction. LORD God, change her as only You can.
We call out on behalf of Laura and her family and ask, Mighty God, that You bring healing to Laura and comfort to her family.
Father, if home is where our heart is, then we are out of place on this world. You are our heart, You are our home. Our place is with You. Thank You for the promise that we will be with You forever.
Holy Spirit, we ask that You pour Your comfort on the family of Mr. D.V. Sunder Singh as they grieve the passing of his aunt and on the family of Evelyn Hayhurst as they also grieve. We thank You for the testimony of these two women. They are home now.
LORD Jesus, You loved the little children so much while You walked among us. We ask that You help Madison to fully recover from her injuries.
Father, place Your hand on Gabriel as he recovers from his injuries. Bring him peace.
LORD of All, we praise You for the guidance that You are giving Dan and ask that You bless him in his choices.
Holy Spirit, reign sovereign in the hearts and situations of all those we continue to pray for.
Thank-You, Jesus, for Your missionaries who have a servants heart and a willingness to serve You around the world. Bless them LORD, and provide for them.
We also ask Your blessings on Your pastors and leaders in our churches and ask, Holy God, that You use us to be a blessing to them. Provide the resources for the ministries we are involved in. Help us keep our ministry focus on reaching the lost for you and building up the Body.
We pray for our country and for her leadership. LORD help us find a way to heal the divisions within our land. Protect the men and women who protect our freedom. Let us never forget as we go about our daily lives those whose lives are in danger to protect us.
You are our God and King. Reveal Yourself to us - we long to know You more. Amen
