I just heard the greatest news story on K-Love! Remember all those ridiculous rumors of anti-Semitism in the movie “The Passion”? Well, what satan intended for harm Father God has turned around for good. Because of the rumors, people in the Middle East are seeing the film in record numbers. Instead of seeing hatred towards the Jews, they are seeing God’s great love towards all people. Awesome God, pour Your Spirit out on those who see this movie and open their eyes and hearts to Your incredible love.
We have a great praise! One of the twin preemie babies - Brandon has been able to go home! The other baby - Dakota is still at Valley Children’s but due to go home shortly.
Great news on the first Sonday of Care Fresno Kid’s Klub “Change for a Change” fundraiser! Enough change was collected to get one and a half kids up to Marine World! That only leaves 60 and one half left to get up there! God is so good to us!
More great praise is that Carola Poythress has finally been able to go home after suffering that stroke so long ago. She continues to have difficulties getting around because of how the stroke affected her right arm and leg. Please continue to pray for our sister and her husband, Ransom.
George Martin has been diagnosed with recurring prostate cancer that has gone into his bones. This is a very serious condition. Please pray for him and his family.
John Rogers, Annie Dennis’ father, had pneumonia and a blood clot in his leg. He has finished the radiation treatment and will shortly be starting chemo. The cancer has caused deterioration of his neck bones and he has to wear a cervical collar. John is 5'10" and weighs 129 lbs. Please pray for John, Annie and the whole family.
Jim Hildman was in town last week for the funeral of his nephew, a student at Clovis High who was killed in a car accident. Jim had lunch with Barbara Fortier’s brother and said he has decided to undergo chemo, but that staph infection is back in the incision. That has to be cured before chemo. Let's again pray for healing of the infection. His and his family's spirits are good.
We have the following prayer request from Danette Joos: “I have a prayer request, my Grandmother Ailien Austin had a stroke on Friday. She's in the hospital and is not doing to well, the right side of her face is drooping and it's extremely difficult for her to talk. I went to see her Saturday and she seemed a little better, but Sunday morning she had a seizure. They were originally going to release her today, but that's out the question now. I just want to request prayer for my Grandmother and for my family as this is a very hard time for all of us.”
Paula, Georgette Bersani’s sister in law is requesting prayer fo her daughter in law, Christine Rollins. She has a huge (thumbnail size) kidney stone that is blocking the urethra. They have
tried twice to dislodge it but unsuccessful. She is also requesting prayer for her dad, Paul with his health problems and for his wife Marilyn as she supports her husband.
I am requesting prayer for my Cousin Rich. His step-brother Mike went missing about two months ago. This past Friday Mike’s body was found in a cistern about a mile and a half from his home after someone confessed to killing him. He had been murdered by a 20 year old and two younger kids when Mike came home as they were robbing his home. Please keep Rich and the family in prayer as they deal with this tragedy.
Kris Baiz, a friend of mine from work, underwent surgery today to amputate part of her big toe that had become infected. Her spirits are really dragging low because of this. Please pray for Kris to regain her emotional balance and for quick healing.
We continue to pray for the following: Marisela and her family, Baby Patrick and his family, Ray Rahn and his kidney dialysis, anna Gossen’s mom as she recovers from surgery, my friend who is drifting away from Father, Johnnie Sowell & her chemo, Cheryl Balestra & her chemo, Delaine Zody & the problems over at Fresno High, Evelyn Hayhurst & her recovery from cancer, Billie Cagle and her recovery from a recent illness and surgery, Gabriel who was wounded in Bagdad and is hospitalized in Germany, Chuck Johnson and his continuing health problems, Julie & her mom with their broken bones; 2 yr old Brandon with his leukemia, Lois Winters and her cancer, Bill Clem and his shoulder, Lillian Seward’s continued recovery, Ray Rahn, Jr with his kidney dialysis, Peggy Molander as she undergoes physical therapy, Lois & Dan Hansen and new job for Dan, and Robert Kammer with his sleep apnea.
Please continue to pray for our missionaries - The Reaching Hand Society in India, Dr. George Pe Myat and the hospital in the Congo, Bounkham & Khamla’s mission to Laos, Jan & Larry Martin in Thailand, Laurie Bethall in Prague, Judy, Faye & Miisaw as they work at the New Life Center in Thailand and all the missionaries worldwide.

You are the LORD our God. You teach us what is best for us and You direct us in the way that we should go. Your care for us is all encompassing and eternal. We praise Your name!
We thank You for your tenderloving care for Brandon & Dakota and pray that Dakota will be able to go home soon.
I thank You for the generosity of Your people as they give to the Care Fresno fundraising. LORD God, continue to bless this ministry and the children who come and learn about You.
We offer our praises to You and thank You for Your hand of healing that has been on Carola and we ask that You continue to heal her body.
Mighty God, we call out to You on behalf of our brother George and his family and ask that You bring healing to George and comfort to his family.
We lift up John Rodgers before Your holy throne and ask that You revel Yourself to John in new and awesome ways. As bad as his physical problems are, LORD, they pale in comparison to his spiritual problems. He doesn’t know You! We pray fervently for a spiritual healing for John, that his broken relationship with You can be restored. We pray for the continued strength of Annie, her mom and her sister.
We pray that Your healing hand be placed on Jim Hildman, that the staph infection is quickly cured so that chemo can begin.
LORD of All, touch Grandmother Austin with Your love and healing or let her come home. Her faith in You is strong. Comfort and strengthen Danette and her family during this time.
Father, we ask that You act on behalf of Christine Rollins and the kidney stone, and for Paul with his health problems and strengthen his wife, Marilyn.
Comforter, bring peace and healing to Rich and the family as they deal with the murder of his step-brother, Mike.
LORD God, be with Kris as she recovers from this surgery. Lift her spirits and restore her joy.
Heavenly Father, we pray for the many people on our list. You are aware of each situation and You are sovereign in them. We thank You as You continue to move in these lives.
Holy Spirit, with much love in our hearts we lift up our missionaries to You. We ask that You protect them as they build Your kingdom. We ask that the people they come in contact with will receive Your Word with open hearts.
Messiah, we ask that You bless and empower Your bride, the Church. Strengthen her pastors and leaders. Provide for her needs. Bless the congregations with a zeal to follow You. Bless the ministries that see to the needs of Your chosen, bless the ministries that reach out to the lost.
Continue to bless our country with Your abundance, not in material things, God, but in an abundance of spiritual things. Bring us back to You. Guide our leaders and protect our military. Holy Father, we pray Your protection on all of the soldiers, American and Iraqi who are currently fighting to regain Fallujah. Grant them victory and break the stronghold of fear that the terrorists hold on the people.
LORD God, to know that we are Your children, to know that You love us with an all-consuming love, to know that we will be forever in Your presence is joy beyond comparison. Help us to share this joy with the world. We love You so much.
