The Book He Could Not Burn

He kicked them out and planned to burn their belongings. But a book caught his eye. What he read changed his life. This is K.P. Yohannan with Breaking News from Asia.

Two native missionaries were working in Orissa, India. This is a difficult area for the Gospel. Radical anti-Christians have been known to kill missionaries like Graham Staines and his children. The two Gospel for Asia missionaries were forced to leave town. When their
landlord found tracts and Bibles in their room, he planned to burn them. But an amazing thing happened. He heard a voice say, "These are no ordinary books." Being a superstitious man, he decided to sit down and read!

He started with a New Testament. He couldn't put it down. The words pierced his soul, and he gave his life to Jesus. Gathering up everything left behind by the missionaries, he began to distribute them himself! After awhile, the landlord met another missionary. This time he was excited to welcome him to his village. He even helped the missionary visit door-to-door and pass out Gospel tracts. And today there is a group believers in that village. They joyfully study the Book
he could not burn.
