Friday, June 7 from 7-8:30p in Fellowship Hall This is a time for all our church partners to come hear the vision, share stories, voice concerns, and celebrate what God is doing.Church Picnic & BBQ & Kids day
Sunday, August 11from 12-3p in the quad and on the church field. Bring a potluck dish to share and join us for a fun, relaxing afternoon. Lots of activities for kids on the field. Play games, enjoy conversations with friends, and sample some delicious food.TWO IDENTICAL CHURCH WORSHIP SERVICES
We offer two identical church services at 9:00 and 10:45a. Each runs approximately 75 minutes. Our children’s ministry program kidcity runs congruently with our service times for your convenience. And there is a community gathering time in between from 10:20 – 10:40. The current preaching series is “The Marriage and Family Series.”
We welcomed Pastor Joe Basile and his family to the Fresno First Baptist family on February 3. Joe accepted the call to serve as our Lead Pastor. Joe’s passion for God and love for God’s children are obvious. He teaches the Bible with enthusiasm and lives the gospel in his relationships. Joe is 40 years old, grew up in Illinois, and has a General Baptist background. He has been lead pastor of his last two churches and was a youth pastor before that. He and his wife Lisa have three children; Joe, Jr., currently living in Los Angeles, Jade and Jake. Joe values the rich history of this church and is very excited about what he sees as God’s plans for us.
